Ellery E. Plotkin was born and raised in Stamford, and his entire 30-year legal career has been built and sustained in the Fairfield-New Haven County area. After earning an accounting degree with honors from the University of Connecticut and graduating Hofstra Law School in 1977, he practiced with respected firms in Stamford and Norwalk. Today our firm is a first-call attorney for many people considering consumer bankruptcy or commercial bankruptcy, as well as those targeting efficient real estate closings or favorable resolution of a business dispute.
Mr. Plotkin is admitted to the state courts of Connecticut, as well as federal district court and the Supreme Court of the United States. Our practice, now strengthened by the presence of associate attorney Martha Brooks, is versatile, reputable and well connected to other local resources for situations calling for outside expertise in accounting, taxation, estate planning or other highly specific fields.
